Fitness-4-Teens
Fitness-4-Teens is exclusively for teenagers who want to get fit and stay active, but who don't know where or how to start. The teenage years in my opinion, are the best time for young people to start exercising and to get involve in sport activities.
Fitness-Tips-4-Teens
1)- Do not be ashamed or frustrated No matter your shape, your seize or any other issue on your body that your are not currently happy with, don't panic. Even if others are having a laugh at you, i know it's not easy to bear but try not to pay attention to that, and concentrate on the result you want to achieve instead. Note: No matter what you do or how you look, people will always have something to say. If you are thin, they will say, you are too thin; if you are normal they will still talk, so there is no point arguing or being frustrated, just ignore that. At the end of the day nobody cares, we all start somewhere in life...
2)- If you find it difficult to exercise on your own, see a friend or a relative who can exercise with you. This will keep you motivated.
3)- Don't push yourself too hard Take things easy and one at a time, be realistic. For example: don't try to lose, let's say 5kgs in one day. That's not possible, not healthy and will unnecessarily upset you. In one word Be Patient
4)- For more efficient and quick results, do some cardio and weight training . These exercises will help you lose fat and build muscles.
5)- Take up a sport activity, like basketball, tennis, football, swimming, etc as hobby. I played Basketball in my teens years and i absolutely loved it. It is very physical and keeps you fit at all times; It makes you focus more on the game than on your shape, it is very enjoyable, and most importantly you burn calories. If you are interested in Basketball, please read My Review of the
The Jump Manual
for more information on how to improve your game and quickness.
6)- Keep your body hydrated all the time; before, during and after exercise.
7)-Stay positive Researches have shown that, stress alone can be responsible of a serious weight-gain. Fitness-4-Teens also applies to the mental status. There are people who tend to bury their sorrows in food, that's very dangerous and the results are just awful.
8)- Avoid Junk foods as much as possible. Once in a while is OK, but not all the time. I know they are very tasty, but if you are already struggling with weight problem, it will only add insult to the injury. Try not to skip your meals, what you eat, is what you get. Fitness-4-Teens isn't just about exercising, going to the gym everyday, you should also watch what goes in your mouth. This book shows you how to eat and what to eat. There are recipes available in the book too...simply click on the book to order yours now
9)- Be Active , don't just seat at home and watch the tele. Find things to do around the house, keep yourself busy. Walk or go for a ride when you can. Fitness-4-Teens is also for those who do not want to exercise but prefer other activities instead.
10)- Sleep at least 7 hours a day , it helps you recover and plan for the day ahead. Very little sleep will affect your performance in whatever activity you are involve in. So make sure you always have a good night sleep.
11)- Be Competitive At a young age, competition is a very good stimulator and it takes you from strength to strength; it makes you work harder and wiser. Because of Obesity which is becoming more and more popular nowadays, teenagers are the most affected group and it result in them losing their confidence, they stop to believe in in who they really are.
