Yoga Workouts
I can’t stand the gym.
But I often crave a good, sweaty workout to clear my mind and maintain a healthy body weight.
Plus, an amazing sweat session helps me sleep so much better at night.
So, rather than spend my time in a stinky, over-priced gym, I get my workout on at home.
I usually break a sweat in my living room while my dog watches from the couch. He looks at me like I’ve lost my mind.
It’s safe to say that I’ve browsed through hundreds of different body-toning and weight-loss routines on YouTube over the years.
I’m always on the search for the latest and greatest routines to squeeze in a killer workout about three times each week.
According to Dr Edward Laskowski, you should “get at least 150 of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week.” He adds that you want to “do strength training exercises for all major muscle groups at least two times a week.”
My favorite full-body workouts definitely meet this requirement, and then some.
Take a peek at 10 of the best cardio and strength training workouts to lose weight fast from your own living room.
Okay. 600 calories in 60 minutes?!

You’re seriously moving the entire hour – keeping your heart rate up and burning that body fat.
I love that Jeanette offers modifications for many of the different exercises. Take advantage of these options when you need a little break so you don’t have to quit your workout altogether.
